Gay Hawaii Bed and Breakfast
Looking for a great gay Hawaii vacation?  Tired of the same old hotels and resorts?

Welcome to Absolute Paradise B&B
Palm Tree

The Hawaii vacation destination for gay men!

Our gay and clothing-optional B&B is just a short stroll to the best naturist, gay-friendly black sand beach on the island of Hawaii. Located in the heart of the volcanic Puna District and nearby historic Pahoa town, we are close to Volcanoes National Park, majestic waterfalls, lush tropical gardens, and breathtaking snorkeling.   Kilauea volcano is currently active, with lava pooling/flowing at two locations, and our gay Hawaii B&B is located a 10 minute drive from the lava viewing area.

Absolute Paradise Gay B&B has been welcoming guests to the Big Island of Hawaii for over 9 years.  We are gay-owned and gay-operated and take pride in making our guests feel at home.  We are your perfect home-base for everything from relaxation to eco-tourism adventures and the place to be for gay Hawaii lodging and accommodations on the Big Island!

All our rooms have ocean views and our pool, hot-tub, and sundeck are all clothing-optional.  Whether you're looking for snow-capped mountains (in winter), sizzling black sand beaches (including a nudist beach), or rivers of molten lava you will find it near us on the Big Island of Hawaii.  Hilo International Airport is about 45 minutes away and Pahoa town is about 15 minutes away.

Kilauea Volcano Activity Update (from Hawaiian Volcano Observatory)
Updated Jan. 3, 2012
Lava activity currently confined to National Park and Pu'u O'o vent!

Kilauea volcanic activity continues with lava ponds at two locations:

1) At the summit crater, the lava lake level has remained steady with very brief splashing over the inner ledge (250 ft below the floor of Halema`uma`u Crater), visible as a bright glow at night from the Jaggar Museum in Volcanoes National Park. Rise/fall cycles of lava levels are rising a little higher than they were just a few weeks ago, but lava levels change daily.

2) On the east rift zone, there are a number of small spatter cones within Pu`u `O`o Crater, best seen via helicopter.
The county of Hawaii has set up viewing areas for the public to view the Kalapana eruption (viewing hours are from 2-10 p.m.).  The viewing area is at the end of Hwy. 130, about 10 minutes from our B&B.

For the latest information visit the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory website (link will open in new window).
